Eat & Drink

The Audley is a place to drink draught beers and ciders, with a small menu of classic bar snacks and dishes and serving a traditional roast on Sundays. A place for a pint, a pie, a sausage with mustard or a half dozen oysters…

The bar serves beer from independent supplier Sambrook’s Brewery in Battersea – one of the oldest brewers in London, alongside other favourites such as London Pride and draught Guinness.

We work closely with a selection of farmers, growers and makers who provide the freshest, seasonal produce from around the UK. These include our farm in Somerset which provides our beef and lamb, and Durslade Farm Shop where our sausages are made. We are also delighted to support We are Grow, the agroecological farm and outdoor learning hub at The Totteridge Academy in north London.

This elegant Victorian building has been carefully transformed by design and architecture studio Laplace, whilst remaining true to its listed exterior and interiors. Built in 1888, The Audley was designed by Thomas Verity, the man who designed the exterior of the pavilion at Lord’s Cricket Ground.

London-based artist Phyllida Barlow was invited to create a stunning site-specific ceiling for the Audley.

Renowned for her ability to incorporate elements from her surroundings, Barlow’s creative process was enriched by the concept of collages. This resulted in an art installation that harmoniously complemented the architectural vision of Luis Laplace.
